Día 1: Manila, Ciudad del Caos (y el corazón)
6:00 AM - Despertar (o el intento de…): Mal sueño, el aire acondicionado que se rebeló, y un gato que decidió que mi cara era el trampolín perfecto. ¡Ya me siento Filipina!
7:00 AM - Desayuno (y la santa paciencia): Buscar comida en Manila es como navegar un laberinto. Encontré un carinderia (pequeño restaurante local) y pedí tapsilog (carne seca, arroz y huevo frito). El arroz era pegajoso, el huevo… bueno, digamos que no tenía forma de huevo, Y el sabor… ¡delicioso! La señora al frente, con un sol en la sonrisa, me miró y dijo: "¡Comida para el alma, Ma'am!" Y tenía razón.
8:00 AM - Intramuros, Murallas y Misterios: ¡Intramuros! La ciudad amurallada, un viaje en el tiempo, o eso dicen. La verdad es que, con el calor y el tráfico, sentí que me derritía cual helado olvidado en el sol filipino. Me alquilé un bambike (bicicleta de bambú). La idea era romántica, pero el bambú crujía más que mi rodilla. ¡Casi atropello a un gallo!
10:00 AM - Fuerte Santiago, Secretos de Historia (y selfies): Las ruinas del Fuerte Santiago… imponentes. Me imaginé a José Rizal, el héroe nacional, paseando por ahí. Pero mis pensamientos se vieron interrumpidos por un grupo de adolescentes que gritaban "¡Selfie time!" La historia se mezcló con el Instagram. ¿Es bueno o malo? No lo sé, ¡pero es Filipinas!
12:00 PM – Almuerzo (y la búsqueda del baño): Buscando un restaurante decente, terminé en un establecimiento con un nombre impronunciable. La comida estaba buena, pero el baño… ¡horroroso! No tenía papel higiénico. ¡Me sentí como una exploradora en busca de la civilización!
1:00 PM - Paseo en Jeepney - El Rey de la Carretera (y el sudor): ¡El jeepney! El transporte público más famoso de Filipinas, un crisol de colores y gente. Me subí a uno y me sentí como una sardina. El aire acondicionado brilló por su ausencia. El calor era agobiante, pero la gente era amable, me sonreían, me preguntaban de dónde venía. Un niño me ofreció un caramelo. En ese momento, el sudor, el hacinamiento, ¡todo valió la pena!
3:00 PM - Mercado de San Miguel: Un Festín para los Sentidos (y el olfato): El mercado… ¡un caos delicioso! Olores exóticos, colores vibrantes, gente por todas partes. Compré mangos, ¡los mejores que he probado en mi vida! Pero también… ¡vi un puesto de pescado que no se veía muy fresco! Tuve que huir, ¡mi estómago no aguantaba!
5:00 PM - Malate: El barrio bohemio (y las dudas): Malate, con sus bares y sus luces… me sentí un poco perdida. ¿Tenía que haber venido? ¿Era lo que esperaba? No lo sé, pero pedí una cerveza San Miguel (¡la única que reconocía!) y me senté a observar. La gente pasaba, con sus vidas, sus sueños, y sus frustraciones. Y en ese instante, me di cuenta de que, sí, ¡aquí era donde tenía que estar!
7:00 PM - Cena (y la reflexión): Encontré un restaurante que combinaba comida local con música en vivo. Probé sinigang (sopa agria) - ¡explosión de sabores! - y me sentí… feliz y exhausta. Manila, la ciudad del caos, me había conquistado.
Día 2: Corregidor, la Isla fantasma (y la magia)
7:00 AM - Traslado a Corregidor: Un largo viaje en autobús y ferry. ¡Las vistas del mar, espectaculares! Pero el aire acondicionado del autobús… ¡otro fracaso! El sudor, mi compañero inseparable.
9:00 AM - Corregidor: Historia y Ruinas: El viaje a Corregidor es un viaje atrás en el tiempo. Fui testigo de la historia de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, a la vez que sentía el peso de la melancolía.
12:00 PM - El túnel Malinta: Entrar en el túnel Malinta es como bajar al infierno. Oscuridad, humedad, historias de valentía… y el miedo, un compañero constante. ¡No se puede dejar de sentir escalofríos!
2:00 PM - Almuerzo en Corregidor:. Un almuerzo en el restaurante de la isla…sencillo, pero con vistas impresionantes. Después del estrés de la guerra… ¡necesitaba paz!
4:00 PM - El Faro y las vistas de la mar: Un faro imponente, vistas panorámicas. ¡Pero el sol era implacable!
6:00 PM - Regreso a Manila: El viaje de vuelta fue silencioso. Pensando en lo que había visto, en lo que había sentido…Corregidor te toca el alma.
Día 3: Adiós Manila (y el deseo de volver)
7:00 AM - Desayuno tardío (sí, otra vez): La habitación del hotel… ¡un basurero! Pero la energía vital para la aventura es obligatoria, incluso el día de la partida.
9:00 AM - Últimas compras (y el drama): Intentando comprar souvenirs… negociando con los vendedores… ¡un deporte extremo! Terminé comprando más de lo que necesitaba, pero con una sonrisa.
11:00 AM - Aeropuerto: Esperando el avión… ¡El caos del aeropuerto! Todos con maletas, ¡todos sudando! Pero en medio de todo el caos, la gente filipina siempre tiene una sonrisa.
1:00 PM (Hora de partida): ¡Adiós, Filipinas! Un viaje agotador, pero maravilloso. Lleno de imperfecciones, de imprevistos, de momentos inolvidables. Un viaje que me cambió. ¡Y ¡ya estoy pensando en volver!
